Upgrade the cooling capacity and charge-air flow of your N55-powered BMW with the Wagner Tuning EVO III Competition Intercooler and Charge Pipe Kit.

Designed for high-power street and racing applications, this system features an oversized stepped intercooler core measuring 510 mm × 345 mm × 180 mm. Compared with the original intercooler, it provides approximately 165% more frontal flow area and 223% more charge-air volume.

The Competition intercooler core uses internal turbulators to support efficient heat transfer and consistent cooling under demanding conditions. CAD-designed cast-aluminum end tanks are optimized through CFD airflow analysis to provide strong cooling performance while minimizing back pressure.

The EVO III system replaces the restrictive factory click connections and increases the connection diameters to 65 mm at the inlet and 76 mm at the outlet. Reinforced silicone hoses and a 76 mm aluminum charge pipe are included to create a complete high-flow charge-air upgrade.

A thermally conductive anti-corrosion coating helps protect the intercooler from environmental exposure while supporting long-term heat-transfer performance. The system has been pressure tested for stability up to 6 bar.

Due to the intercooler’s substantially increased size, minor modification to the radiator support may be required during installation.
